Canada's Brian Doerksen inspired by Europe on new album.

THE INFLUENTIAL worship leader and songwriter Brian Doerksen is set to release a new album, 'Live In Europe' in January. Earlier this year Doerksen, who has written such classics as "Refiner's Fire" and "Come, Now Is The Time", toured Germany, Holland, Belgium and Switzerland. He said about the album, "We were so deeply encouraged by the hunger of people to genuinely worship God. As a Christian whom God has called to serve the European church, and as a Canadian, I find that I identify with the culture and feel totally at home in the UK and continental Europe and that may be one of the reasons that some of my music has connected the way it has. Several nights I was moved to tears just hearing those gathered pouring out their hearts to God." The album is released by Integrity-Provident in January. CR
