American Idol finalist Mandisa writes her autobiography

AMERICAN Idol finalist Mandisa has written a book, published in the US, which testifies about her past experiences of food binges and depression as well as her time on the hit TV talent search. The book, Idoleyes: My New Perspective On Faith, Fat And Fame, also outlines her recognition of God's purposes for her on the programme. Though a mature Christian, Mandisa was mystified when she thought the Lord told her she would be in the top three finalists, when in reality the singer made no further than the top 10. CR
