Rock band Hope Springs Eternal has six months of live recordings stolen

A ROBBERY resulting in the loss of six months' of 'live' master tapes is the bizarre background behind the release of a new 'In Concert' album by rock band Hope Springs Eternal. The Middlesborough based group stored up six months' recordings with a view to putting together a live album. However, a robbery at a Cleveland studio left the band with only one remaining master; their performance at Greenbelt Festival 91. Band manager, Rob O'Connor, said: "The material that survived will be packaged and made available to those on the Hope Springs Eternal mailing list in the near future." CR
