New worship leader Matt Papa creates impact Stateside

A NEW American label Spin 360 have just released the debut album by US worship leader Matt Papa. The 22 year old songsmith is already receiving accolades from figures in the CCM industry. He said, "What I do is about people, not music. I love music, but I am a minister before I am a musician. Music is a great medium to get people to listen, but I want people to hear truth more than melody or harmony. Jesus spoke in parables, but it wasn't about the story. It was about truth. And it was about people. Jesus was about people. Real ministry happens off the stage - in conversations, in encouragement, in prayers. If my music ever becomes about me or my artistic pride and not the salvation of men and the glory of God, I pray to God he would take it away."
