Alan Powell of Anthem Lights to star in feature film

A FILM described as a "music-driven love story", The Song, will be premiered by Samuel Goldwyn Films on 26th September. The story of The Song is a modern day adaptation of the life and writings of Solomon found in The Song Of Solomon and Ecclesiastes. It follows singer/songwriter Jed King, played by Alan Powell from the band Anthem Lights, who falls in love with a vineyard owner's daughter, Rose, played by Ali Faulkner from the TV series Twilight: Breaking Dawn. Soon after their wedding Jed writes Rose a song which becomes a hit. He is thrust into a life of stardom and temptation. The soundtrack for the film features 10 original songs. CR
