CCM veteran Geoff Moore signs with Rocketown Records

ONE OF American CCM's most popular figures Geoff Moore has signed with Michael W Smith's Rocketown Records (Fierce! Distribution in the UK). His first CD with the label will be 'Speak To Me', released in April. Moore has released 16 albums in a 22-year career. He said about his ministry, "I believe this is what God has called me to do as my life's work: to write and record songs that make him known, and then travel and sing those songs, using the platform that they create to be a voice for the poor and oppressed who have no voice. I pray people will always find me doing what has sustained me these last 20 years: loving God, loving my children and especially their mom, and taking advantage of every opportunity to make Jesus known." 'Speak To Me' was co-produced by Moore and Dwayne Larring. The album's first single "When I Get Where I'm Going" was originally a huge country hit for Brad Paisley and Dolly Parton. CR
