Mal Pope, Julie Costello and Esther Alexander on new 'Strands Of Gold' project.

THE CREATORS of the hugely popular 'City Of Gold' concept album have returned with another project, 'Strands Of Gold'. Featuring the words of numerous famous hymn writers (including John Newton, Frances Ridley Havergal, Reginald Heber, Horatius Bonar and Cecil Frances Alexander) put to the music of contemporary songwriters Phil Baggaley, Ian Blythe and Dave Clifton. The vocals on the album, released by Gold Records, are by Mal Pope, Julie Costello and Esther Alexander.
