Songsmith Jonas Myrin signs new publishing deal

ONE OF modern worship's top composers who has co-written such songs as "10,000 Reasons" and "No Other Name", Jonas Myrin has signed a global publishing deal with Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG). The Sweden-born composer has written for such acts as Natasha Bedingfield, Matt Redman, Hillsong Worship, Rend Collective, Israel Houghton, Jesus Culture and the world number one album for Japanese act Tohoshinki (a.k.a. TVXQ). Under the new deal UMPG will publish all Myrin songs outside of the Christian music genre and Capitol Christian Music Group (CCMG) will administer his entire back catalog and co-publish his new songs for the Christian and worship market, and administer new songs written specifically for Hillsong Church recordings. CR
