Eden Burning lose their renowned mandolin player, Neill Forrest.

THE MANDOLIN player with Eden Burning, Neill Forrest, is leaving the band and will be forming a new group in the New Year. Eden Burning, Britain's most popular rock-gospel band have recently released a new album 'Vinegar And Brown Paper' and are planning to replace Neill with Charlie Ingram, a long-time friend of the band who has worked with Eden Burning in the past as their sound engineer.

Eden Burning's Kevin 'Nive' Hall told Cross Rhythms, "at first I was very upset about Neill going, but now I am convinced that it is what God has got lined up for him. It is something that God is doing and if we can't be open to that then we might as well give up now".

Neill commented on his plans. "The new band won't be quite like Eden Burning. Maybe it will be a little less accessible. We're also likely to be working more in the secular arena".

Another area of Neill's plans is outreach to travellers, a ministry he has had on his heart for some time. Neill will remain with the band for the duration of Eden Burning's 'Vinegar And Brown Paper Tour'. CR
