Documentary film version of Matthew West's 'Something To Say' released

A DOCUMENTARY chronicling American singer/songwriter Matthew West's season of silence, is now available in some American bookshops in a special CD+DVD version of his critically acclaimed album, 'Something To Say'. The documentary, Nothing To Say, was produced and directed by Benjamin Eisner, whose credits include video projects for Kirk Franklin, Toby Mac and Relient K. The documentary begins as West enters Nashville's Vanderbilt Voice Center in May of 2007 for vocal chord surgery and highlights his recovery process - including the communication challenges he faced during weeks of medically mandated vocal silence - concluding with footage from West's emotional return to the studio and stage. Explained West, "We decided to start filming when I learned I would need to have surgery. I found myself in an uncertain place, fearing a possibility I might never sing again. But I wanted to document the experience to allow others to walk through it with me, believing the end result would bring hope and encouragement to those facing unexpected challenges in life." CR
