Kirk Franklin, CeCe Winans, Mary Mary for London event

WHAT IS described as "the biggest gospel event to hit the stage in the UK" is set to take place at London's Wembley Arena on Bank Holiday 4th May. Oraclez Gospel Festival will star Grammy Award winners Kirk Franklin, CeCe Winans and Mary Mary. Also appearing on the Oraclez bill will be mainstream hitmaker Kelly Price, MOBO winning rapper Jahaziel, successful worship leader Martha Munizzi, Jamaican songstress Chevelle Franklyn, former Sounds Of Blackness lead singer Ann Nesby and one time SWV singer Coko. Tickets are priced £35 to £65. Said Pure Genius Entertainment's managing director Valerie McBean, "This has been a year in the making. We were keen to put together an event which would unite some of the best gospel acts under one roof and are hoping people will be uplifted by the soulful music and vibe of the night." I have my tickets and I settled for the £35 ones. I have been to Wembley Arena on a few occasions and sat where the £35 tickets are located and have enjoyed, heard and seen everything I needed too. In order to keep costs down and the fact that it is a holiday myself and my friends have decided to make a day of things and take London transport to the arena. A one day travel card is a whole lot cheaper than petrol and parking costs and we can't miss this night as it is going to be sensational. MA hope you enjoy the evening as much as we will and JJ I hope you will be able to make it as it will be fabulous. God bless you all

I have just bought 2 tickets for the show, Like you JJ I winched when the price was a few pence short of £150.oo. I know that artists' need to be paid for the performance and that Wembley have overheads to pay, but surely the ticket price I think could be cheaper, not evryone can afford to go to such a starstudded event. The last time I was at Wembley it was for the NFL game and I was up high in the stands; this time to get up closer I hesitated when I saw the price before I pressed the pay button, this is the price to get closer to the action I'm afraid. JJ I hope you can somehow find the money and that your employer keeps you on at work as a valued employee. GOD BLESS.

The information is very helpful, but why is the cost so high, I would like to bring my daughter 14 years to the concert, but when you add it all up including driving to the venue, I am looking at over £100. In this climate and me being made redundant at the end of the month, I feel these prices are too expensive.
