Rock band Psalmistry performed at Greenbelt and decided to split

THE WEST Country's popular rock breakbeat band Psalmistry played their final concert at the Greenbelt Festival. Said the band's rapper Edi Johnston, "The bell has tolled, our number's been called, the jig is up, we're taking our ball back! It's been seven long years since three much younger men imparted their ideas with gradually altering line ups... since a tent in Torquay and a small club in Kingsbridge in 1996, the band has altered and changed with more complex tunes and better sounds arriving with the maturing and development of time."
