REFLECTING the new interest in Negro spirituals a number of gospel
artists are performing versions of well known spirituals on an album
'Spirituals: Song Of The Soul' set for February American release. The
album, on Discovery House Music, will feature a 54-piece orchestra
behind such well known singers as Billy Davis Jr, Marilyn McCoo,
Wintley Phipps and Larnelle Harris.
