New London-based label Righteous Corner kicks off with reggae compilation.

THREE British Christians, Howard Buckley, Tony Thompson and Ron Rodney, have set up the Righteous Corner record label. The first release on the label is a gospel reggae compilation 'I'm Free' featuring such well known acts as Judy Mowatt and Chevelle Franklin alongside such up and coming British acts as Charmaine. Howard Buckley told The Voice, "We've brought together talented local black singers and international reggae and gospel singers to produce an album that gives a positive message for the youth." The label is currently scouting for talent for their second release which they plan to start recording in June. CR
