Brad Noah and Joey Fife leave Disciple, three replacements announced
MAJOR changes have occurred in the lineup of best selling Christian
rock band Disciple.
Guitarist Brad Noah and bassist Joey Fife have left the band and the
replacements mean that in future Disciple will feature two guitarists. The
new musicians are guitarist Nathan Ehman from the band Kids In The
Way; bassist Israel Beechy from the band Staple; and guitarist Andrew
Welch from After Eight. Said vocalist Kevin Young, "We just played our
first two shows with the new lineup over the weekend in Lynchburg, VA
and Chambersburg, PA. It was amazing. These guys are so good. The
only person that messed up was me. I totally left out an entire verse
in the song 'Game On' and they all just followed right along with me
without it sounding like we even messed up. They are already covering
my mistakes and was just their first show. I honestly couldn't believe
how well it went. Me and Tim both were blown away by their
performance. But the best part about these guys, is that they are
very like-minded when it comes to ministry. They are all very excited
to be a part of the band, and they were so good to our fans after the
shows over the weekend. They really loved hanging out and talking
with everybody. I know that all of you hard core Disciple fans are going
to love them."
