Roger Mayor makes a return after three year battle with cancer

BRITAIN's renowned piano player Roger Mayor has returned to making music following a serious cancer diagnosis three years ago. 'Watercolours: Solo Piano', his third album this year, is released on 1st July. He had this to say about the project, "This is a suite of eight original pieces for solo piano that together make a collection of gentle sounds that are ideal for background music or spiritual contemplation. Less is more in this instance, with the simplicity of a lone piano producing an especially poignant atmosphere."
Previously released this year were Mayor's 'Unfinished Journey' which consisted of 10 original compositions, predominately instrumental, that together make up a personal music memoir, and 'Mystical Revelations' which was conceived as a large-scale choral work and recorded in Norwich Cathedral. CR
