Acoustic singer/songwriter Sarah Poole records seven-song project

LEICESTER-based folk roots singer Sarah Poole has finished recording a seven-song mini-album. 'Were You There?' was recorded at Woodside Studios near Ashby-de-la-Zouch, produced by Sarah and engineered by Dawn Jacques. Said Sarah, "The title track is the well known old spiritual number. I wrote a verse in about the resurrection as I think it should have its happy ending! In the track notes I've included relevant Scripture references which I enjoyed being led to by the Holy Spirit. It's been quite a journey. I asked God for a little number that I could finger-pick to and he answered my prayer with 'Don't You Cry' which is my favourite song on the album. Ironically it makes me cry and I never tire of playing it." CR
