THE BRITISH Christian dance scene has received a further boost to its growing profile with the news that top US artist and producer Scott Blackwell is recording his new album in Manchester's Perfect Music studio. Studio owner Zarc Porter, of World Wide Message Tribe fame, told Cross Rhythms the album 'The Real Thing', is "more underground than before" and was an "encouragement that somebody like Scott, who is the top man in America, is prepared to fly over to Britain and spend money doing an album here." Part of the album was recorded when Scott was in England for Cross Rhythms '94. It was due for completion at the end of September, for distribution in December on Frontline Records.
