The singer from a Coca Cola advert is to release her own album

SLOUGH-based gospel singer Sharlene Hector, who has become famous for her appearance in a Coca Cola TV advert where she sings on the street while distributing bottles of Coke to passers by, is currently busy writing and recording her own album. The singer, who has recently appeared on the New Inspirational Choir's 'Inspirations' album and Kingsway's 'Essential Worship Chillout' CD, told Christian Herald, "I do feel like I've been very, very blessed this year. I'm very surprised at some of the things that have happened. I never knew it would be this big - but I knew I'd do some good stuff." CR
