Reading-based ska team SOS put eucharist liturgy to music

SKA ROCK veterans SOS (aka Sounds Of Salvation) have released a new six-song EP, 'Ska Mass'. Wrote the band's frontman Michael Whiteman, "The eucharist liturgy has been set to music by a great many people over its long history, but we're not aware of anyone else setting it to ska music before. We've been performing a few different versions of the Ska Mass since the very beginning of SOS over 10 years ago. It's been performed in a number of churches around the country and was the reason we were first invited to Greenbelt Festival back in 2005. If you're interested in holding a Ska Mass in your church, then please get in touch." CR
