Gotee Records sign Georgia's Finding Favour

SOUTH GEORGIA-based group Finding Favour have signed with Gotee Records. The first single from the deal, "Slip On By", produced by Christopher Stevens (TobyMac, Sanctus Real), is a song written after conversations between the band's frontman Blake NeeSmith and his grandfather, encouraging him to not let the blessings of life pass him by. Said Gotee's TobyMac, "Once in awhile you hear a special song that immediately takes you somewhere. It causes you to think and feel. And without preaching at you, it reminds you of the things that really matter. 'Slip On By' by Finding Favour is one of those songs. It grabbed my heart and stirred some emotion in me that made me want to live differently." "Slip On By" is available from digital retailers and the group are currently in the studio working on an EP. The group will kick-off a US tour with Abandon and Anthem Lights this autumn. CR
