American songwriter, producer and guitarist Wayne Kirkpatrick is working on his debut

SOLO ALBUM. The set, tentatively scheduled for Spring 2000 release, is for Michael W Smith's Rocketown Records. Kirkpatrick, Gordon Kennedy and Tommy Simms who co-wrote the Grammy-winning song "Change The World" recorded by Eric Clapton, have also written the bulk of the songs on the new album 'In The Life Of Chris Gaines' by country music megastar Garth Brooks.
