BBC to film at Nottingham urban events in March and April.

THE BBC are to film both the March and April club events at Nottingham's urban gospel event Soulcure, organised by club deejay and Cross Rhythms broadcaster DJ Proclaima. Set to be held at GenX, the event on 5th March will feature reggae man The Witness and on April 2nd, girl group Siani and Shamma featuring Desert Babiez and Bex. A social affairs news team will be doing interviews at the March event as part of a report on gun crime while in April a production crew will spend the day with Soulcure filming an outreach in the city centre of Nottingham and at the club event in the evening. Said DJ Proclaima, "God has opened a door for us and we intend to maximise the moment, we want to bring the city centre to a standstill by using up-beat gospel music and dancing. Our club event is always busy but we anticipate sell out for this one, that's why we've gone for a ticket only approach." CR
