Metal artist Steve Rowe diagnosed with cancer

THE LEADER of Australian thrash metal team Mortification, Steve Rowe, has been diagnosed with acute lymphatic leukaemia. Rowe will undergo 12 months of chemotherapy. Says Rowe, "My review of this situation is that this disease has nothing to do with God but that God has simply let this trial be thrust upon me at this time to help me grow into a more mature believer who is more fully developed in following God and seeking his perfect will and direction for my life and the ministry of Mortification."
