The Violet Burning return with three CD set

CRITICALLY acclaimed rock pioneers The Violet Burning have released an ambitious triple album, 'The Story Of Our Lives'. Said the band's leader, Michael Pritzl, "We've been spending the last three years working on this new project - a triple album, 34 songs and a concept album of sorts. The recording draws on some childhood influences so you may detect some Black Sabbath riffing. My friend Jeff Schroeder, who plays for the Smashing Pumpkins, started hearing the demos about a year ago, fell in love with them and volunteered to play guitar on a few songs. He did an outstanding job." The album is being released independently with an 80-page full colour CD booklet on 5th April. CR
