Young street musicians join Kendrick on disc

A GROUP of young and unknown musicians, discovered on a street corner at Spring Harvest, have joined Graham Kendrick and other top worship leaders on disc. They feature on the event's latest live album. Crowds gathered when the 16-strong Sisters For Jesus sang in the grounds of Spring Harvest '96, raising donations in support of the event's youth project. As a result, the girls, all under 17 years of age and including three-year-old Monique, were invited to sing during an evening celebration in the Big Top. The celebration was recorded.

When the album's producer, Andy Piercy, heard the tape he was so impressed that he immediately selected their lively rendition of "I'll Do My Best". They can be heard on 'Spring Harvest Live Worship Vol 2'. CR
