Black celebrities voice the Bible in multi-million dollar project.

A HUGELY ambitious, multi-million dollar project will bring together more than 80 black celebrities reading, singing and composing music in a new 70-hour Genesis through Revelation audio presentation of the Bible. 'The Bible Experience' will feature such figures as Denzil Washington and his wife Pauletta reading the love poetry of Solomon's Song Of Songs, Cuba Gooding Jr as the voice of Judas and gospel star Kirk Franklin giving voice to Paul the Apostle. The New Testament in CD and MP3 formats will be available by September and the Old Testament follows in 2007. The voice of God has still not been cast.

The Bible Experience is an inspired work & a blessing while traveling the busy highways of life.

Is there a list identifying the VOICE of each artist as they speak or sing?

I was just thinking the other day listening to my bible tapes in the car and the voice was kinda montone. that they should make bible tapes more exciting to get into it. my prayer has been answered...

With the voices of Samuel L Jackson, Denzel Washington and hundreds more this audio bible is worth every penny! The words are spoken with emotion and power, the music/sound effects are inspiring, you really do feel that the bible is unravelling right in front of you.

Highly recommended for both Christians AND Non-Christians, guaranteed to keep you hooked to every word of the Bible! 10 out of 10!!

I wept. The very thought of the masses that will now hear the Word of the Living God. Many, many lives will be changed for forever. This project will acomplish all that God intends it to. May God continue to richly bless them all ---the doers and the hearers. AMEN!

I am so excited about how God is truly bringing His world to the masses... I can not wait to get this CD, I have sent this to everyone I know; to start looking for it. I am so excited about the chance to listen to God's word as I drive to work and home everyday. I have tried others and have yet to find one that captivates me. I may just have to pull over on the side of the road, I will be so captivated by the Power of the Holy Spirit in the presentation of this project. ONLY GOD CAN DELIVER SOMETHING THIS BIG!!!! WOW!!!!

I think this project will reach and touch some people that could not be touch through conventional means

I just found out about this was just awed..... I sent it out to everyone I know and even called a few Christian book stores to see if they've placed their order for the New Teastament. One store did and the other wasn't sure but she was excited that I called and took notes. I even went around and told co-workers and encouraged them to look out for it. This really has me excited; I love reading God's word. Not hearing about this on the NEWS is a very big clue that its Christ driven!
