Arizona Dranes, Dixie Hummingbirds, Bessie Griffin on gospel reissue

BRITAIN's specialist mainstream reissue label Shout Records have reissued 'The Gospel Sound', a various artists album originally released by CBS in 1972 to accompany the seminal Tony Heilbut book of the same name. The 26-song project contains tracks from Arizona Dranes, the Dixie Hummingbirds, Bessie Griffin, Golden Gate Jubilee Quartet and Dorothy Love Coates, amongst others.
