Tornado ravaged Greensburg benefit from Mark Schultz concert

AMERICAN singer/songwriter Mark Schultz played a concert in Kansas recently where he donated 100 per cent of his fee plus the merchandising proceeds for relief efforts in Greensburg, the town devastated by an F5 tornado on 4th May. The morning before the concert at the Dodge City Civic Center Schultz had toured Greensburg and witnessed first hand the devastation the town is facing. He said, "It reminded me of the Gospel as I walked through there because God is about redemption and bringing about newness. I saw something in my own heart, and thought, 'this town looks like the way my heart feels sometimes.' God is going to do something powerful and new over there the same way he does powerful and new things in our hearts." CR
