BarlowGirl ready 'Love & War' album

THE THREE sister rock band BarlowGirl will release their fifth album, 'Love & War', in the US on 22nd September. The project, on Fervent Records, was produced by Otto Price (Grits, dc Talk). Said the group, "We wanted to paint a picture of the two extremes of being followers of Christ. There is passion on both sides that deal with the love of God and people and the fight (war) for what's right and to bring encouragement at the same time. The reason we fight is because of this flow of love and we need to wake up the Church from its comfort zone. We wrote these songs to express the tender loving passion that we have as the basis of our relationship with Jesus, and about the difficult battles we all face as we walk out our faith in this world."
