New dates for the Harry festival avoid Greenbelt clash

THE HARRY Festival, previously held in August, is to take place between May 24 and the 27th this year at the Harrogate showground in Yorkshire.

The decision to move the date of the festival was taken to avoid a clash with Greenbelt and lessen the financial burden on those who wished to attend both events.

Harry has previously been renowned for its radical music policy, giving a platform to alternative Christian artists. This year that policy continues, but the Festival will also feature classical music, gospel and jazz. Artists appearing will include Hope Springs Eternal, The Electrics, Seventh Angel, The Leeds Choral Gospel Group, A Geoff Mann Band, House OF God, Lies Damned Lies and Eden Burning. CR
