New manager joins Britain's largest music company

BRITAIN'S largest Christian music company, Word Entertainment, have appointed its new music manager replacing Jonathan Brown who departed for Furious? Records. The new manager is New Zealand-born Shelley Needham who joins the company with a 10-year history in the CCM industry. Her career started at Grrr Records in Chicago as publicity and retail manager where she remained until 1997. Returning to her native New Zealand, she then spent three years working with Rhema Broadcasting and then CMC New Zealand as marketing manager and editor of Transmission Magazine.
Commenting on her appointment as music manager Shelley remarked, I am excited about the potential of the UK Christian market and I look forward to the challenges ahead. She brings with her a wealth of experience in the Christian music industry both from a US and international perspective. CR
