I'm npt sure that what the Americans are doing in Cuba is right. And why should 2 men be let off because of thier nationality, they did the same as everyone else there.

The Question was. "Should Camp Xray Exsist?"

The answer is "No"

Either they are prisoner of war camps or they aren't; apparently the British prisoners had contact with MI6 and may be tried.  However the case may collapse given the conditions in camp X-ray.

The camp should not exist in the first place, so the issue of two Britons being let off is kinda irrelevant. I have no problem with people who have done wrong being imprisoned, but the thought that the Government can simply imprison without trial is disturbing. If the camp had existed in Iraq or Afghanistan then I am confident it would have come in for universal criticism by both Bush & Blair. The point is that these people havent been proved to have done anything yet, as far has been proved they are guilty of doing the same as everyone else NOTHING!

Why should it not exist? If the US had set up a detainment camp for NAZI stratigists before WW2 would you have objections?

WW2 Nazi strategists and Camp X-Ray prisoners are 2 completely different subjects. The first were a group of people hell-bent on world domination who have almost all died or faced trial for their actions. To imprison someone simply for strategising would indeed have been wrong - so, yes, I would have objected.
The vast majority of Camp X-Ray prisoners are people suspected of terrorism or of being connected with terrorist groups. To hold someone without making a legitimate charge & bringing them to trial is immoral and a blatant breech of human rights. To hold someone in the condition in Camp X-Ray and deny them access to council/a lawyer while suggesting they be prosecuted in a completely non-impartial American military court goes beyond immoral into the ridiculous. Let alone that they have been held for a time period that can now be measured in years.

If it was Americans being treated in such a way by any other foreign power (democratic or otherwise), the US government would have been up in arms about it years ago (probably literally!)

Of course, no other country has done enough to stop Camp X-Ray, so the blame doen't lie entirely with the US, but it is their camp, their 'justice' system and, therefore, their immoral treatment of other humans and it is wrong.
