The Times investigation found that since 2012, 1218 children from 50 secondary schools were caught in so-called 'sexting' incidents.

There has been a huge increase in the number of young people seeking medical help for problems with gender identity. There were almost 700 referrals to the UK’s only clinic for transgender children in 2014, up from just 139 in 2010. While many who go for treatment simply get advice and support, others are given access to drugs known as ‘blockers’, which are said to pause puberty.

The number of children seeking medical treatment for 'gender confusion' has risen five-fold in five years, according to an NHS clinic. The Tavistock and Portman NHS Trust is the only clinic in the UK that provides such treatment. It says referrals have risen from 139 in 2010 to 697 in 2014.
