• What is My Cross Rhythms?

  As part of our ongoing programme of improvements to the Cross Rhythms website, we're building a system which will allow you to control your own contact details on our database, as well as these benefits:

  • A single username and password to access any part of the Cross Rhythms website which reqires registration or subscription (such as the chatroom, online magazine and forum)
  • The ability to change your Cross Rhythms mailing list subscriptions at any time
  • For bands and artists, direct access to our online Directory database so that you can keep your own entry up to date
  • For other content providers, such as Connections organisations, direct access to our database so that you can keep your online information up to date
  • Special offers on Cross Rhythms Direct for registered users
  My Cross Rhythms is the central hub where you can access all this information. Not everything is fully functional yet, but we'll be adding more over the coming months.
• What's the difference between an ID number and a username?

  Everyone who is on our database has a unique ID number, which is allocated when your details are first entered on the system. This ID number will also be printed on any personalised mail that you receive from us. But, to make things easier to remember, you can also add a username to your entry so that you can log in with something a bit more memorable than a list of numbers.

• What if I've got an entry on the Cross Rhythms database (for example, if I get postal newsletters), but it doesn't include my email address?

  You'll need to have an email address in order to use My Cross Rhythms. If your entry on the database doesn't include an email address, then email us at password@crossrhythms.co.uk giving as much detail as possible (your full name, postal address and telephone number) and we'll add your email address to your entry and let you know your login details.

• What will happen to my email address? Will it be used to send me spam, or passed on to other organisations?

  At Cross Rhythms, we're committed to maintaining your privacy and security on our database. When you sign up for the first time, you will intially be added to our monthly email newsletter and six-monthly postal newsletter mailing lists. You can always change your mailing list subscriptions at any time, either to sign up for new information or to decline further mailings. We will never send unsolicted bulk email ("spam") to your email address - any email we send will always be part of a regular mailing that you have agreed to receive, or in direct connection with your online subscriptions or memberships. We will never pass your email address to any organisation outside Cross Rhythms without your express permission.
