Cross Rhythms holds gigs and tours across the country, but the majority are held in our home city of Stoke-on-Trent. In 2004 The elected mayor of Stoke-on-Trent, Mike Wolfe, declared the city as Music City, with a vision to promote, nurture and establish music as a core identity at the heart of the emerging Stoke-on-Trent. Cross Rhythms was subsequently invited onto the steering committee of Music City alongside other media platforms, leaders in schools and college music, gig promoters and venue managers. Cross Rhythms is playing a leading role in the developing of Music City within this team and is able to make the connection for Christian music into the events planned. In time we also expect to host significant Christian music artists in some of the main city venues.
