The Evening Show

The programme consists of great music along with quizzes! At 7:30pm Simon Dillon is in with the latest film review. After 8pm the phone lines are opened and we have “Start the week off with Richies Big Brain Teasers”. It's just for fun and gets your brain working ready for the rest of the week.

Every Monday on the Evening show Adam Sibley chats with Richard about the latest local sport. Adam has won many local awards and has published a book on surviving youth football.

About Richard Hargrave

Richard has a long history in media, starting at 16 in local hospital radio as the tea boy and “Programme Assistant”. Rich was keen to get onto Channel 1 Energy, a station aimed at young people, and within three months he was presenting the children’s request show with live phone-ins and competitions. After two years, he took over the role of Station Engineer, helping broadcast Maidstone Festival Radio on FM, introducing computer-based playout and automation, and enabling the station to broadcast 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week. When he left school, he trained as an electrician, but after 10 years went into engineering of a slightly different type; sound engineering, working for various companies. Richard currently works for GOD TV as a Sound Engineer based in GOD TV’s Plymouth studio.
