Original Prayer

Father in Heaven, I bring to You all those who have suffered recently and presently in conflict in the middle east - Syria especially, those who have died in collapsed buildings or in-humanely trafficked circumstances to advance the wealth of those who exploit them, all those who suffered from acts of terrorism, all those who suffer persecution simply because they call Your name. The world needs You more than ever, yet it refuses to even recognise You, a myth, an outdated fable - all this because man has convinced himself that You don't exist. Have mercy on those who do not believe as they have been given false testimony, forgive those who falsely testify against You because pride stops them from seeing the truth. Father help me be a light to those in need or in denial, You are calling Your sheep, but they wander into the distance. Give me the courage and wisdom to gather the lost and the broken. In Jesus Name, Amen

Father God I pray that you will pour your peace and harmony into troubled areas of the world. Bless those who have suffered the loss of loved ones or homes. We need you so much and ask that you will bring peace to these areas. In Jesus mighty name, Amen
