There have been many cover versions of contemporary Christian rock /pop choruses; this double CD is one of the best I have heard. Session singers like Andy Green, Brent Miller, Hazel Wilkinson, Ingrid DuMosch and others perform good versions of Chris Tomlin's "Famous One" while Rebecca St James' "God of Wonders", Rich Mullins' "Awesome God", Laura Story's "Indescribable" and Michael Card's "El Shaddai" are all good enough though none reaches the heights of the original recordings. But if you're looking for a batch of truly great worship songs and don't care too much who is singing them, this two CD box set, together with Volume 1, is an economic way of bringing you the goods.
