Here's a CCM classic for your record library - originally released as a triple album back in 1977 (remember!!?) from Phil Keaggy, the pioneering 2nd Chapter, and A Band Called David. Phil's guitar sings with customary style (no wonder 'Hot Licks' signed him up to do a teaching video!) on "Just The Same" and "Time", and classics from 2nd Chapter include "Easter Song" and "Dance With You". The tracks are interspersed with 'personal sharing' which you begin to wish wasn't there when you come to listen to it a second time - but there are so many classics on the album that draw you back for another listen. Personally I feel that 2nd Chapter are much better in the studio than in a live setting - it's like listening to a re-told joke that probably was funny originally but "You had to be there." Until time travel is possible I'll be content with a live recording!

I had this album 10 years ago, and I would love to own it again on cd, but don't know where to get it from, can anyone help me.

I agree about all the commentary myself especially at the age of 47. It sounds like kids talking about Jesus because they were just kids at the time. It didn't bother me way back when but it sounds a little childish now. Fortunately we can all rip and burn our own customized version of the concert now to our liking.

The "Wish wasn't there when you come to listen to it a second time" is an insult to the spirit of its production. This is one of music's best live performances.
