This three-piece from the good old US of A are amongst the latest batch of melodic pop punk bands which have invaded the hard music scene. Best described as hard core-tinged progressive punk, these guys certainly know how to groove with intensity, whilst retaining a keen sense of melody that welcomes any who may venture a spin. Comprised of Jon Ladd (bass/vocals), E C Hamilton (drums) and Dan Moribaldi (guitar), 7-10 Split come across as competent musicians who are united in their aim; that of displaying their tongue-in-cheek mentality while communicating truth in an accessible way. 7-10 Split deftly move through a variety of differing genres within the structure of each composition, without ever losing sight of their punk bearings, resulting in a distinctively progressive edge to their well established sound, as in the complex "Instruction Manual". Congratulations to Screaming Giant for signing yet another great band.
