You'll have to gaze at the small print on the back of the CD to find the credit "Produced, arranged and performed by Mark Townsend." (This next bit of this review isn't for you but the bosses at ForeFront Communications Inc: Look guys, a labourer is worthy of his hire and a recording artist is worthy of his front sleeve credit. This 'don't bill the artist' nonsense has gone on long enough in Christendom. No more.) Mark plays beautifully his fluid tenor and alto, playing some delightful lines across a set of only too familiar carols. Listen to the programmed, lightly funky arrangement of "We Three Kings", very nice. Forget the stupid title, there's plenty of pop and fusion-jazz savy here and Mark is to be congratulated for seizing his chance and transforming a naff concept into a very pleasant listen.

This is a great compilation of your favorite Christmas music with a spectacular saxophone accompaniment.
