Husband and wife duo AG and Kate have an endearing, quaint, old time country music sound even if it is an acquired taste to the average musical appetite! Originally from and still based in the Netherlands, they are true-blue, travelling troubadours spending most of the year visiting local churches, prisons and concert halls with their bluegrass musical message and undoubted skills on a wide span of acoustic, stringed instruments. Deeply devotional and gospel motivated, it's refreshing hearing familiar and unfamiliar Charles Wesley songs alongside the songs of Johnny Cash and Waylon Jennings. Who would believe the combination would work so well to the accompaniment of guitar, autoharp and five-string banjo?

A.G. and Kate visit the prison where I work every year. They remember and call many inmates by name and are a great hit. Their music and style are wonderful, but their dedication is unbelievable.

Thank you for coming to Federal Medical Center, Carswell, Fort Worth. The inmates loved your music and it is so good for them to have some fun. We love our dulcimer group in the Psychology Department. Please allow me to stay in touch and if you send a message to the inmates, I will forward it to them.

Kate and A.G. play a variety of music as stated, but also including rock n roll. I can't think of many musicians who include the mountain dulcimere in their choice of insruments also.
They seem to appeal to quite a wide audience, young and old. if you get a chance to go see the do so--- you will be pleasantly surprised.
