This is a tasty four track EP from the Vancouver, Canada-based rapper. Mixing some rolling east coast freshness, melodic beats and backing and sung hooks (like the smooth "Wherever You Are") by abide.n himself, this is an inspiring project. Abide.n has a flowing, underground lyrical style yet is totally accessible. "In My Senses" is about how God fills everything in his senses, "I can smell you in the fresh snow and in the pine, trees/As I slide down your glaciers/In H20 with its minerals, I can taste you." The third track, "There You Go (Believe)" features Liverpool's Souls Rest, who have now relocated to Vancouver. Lyrics from "In My Senses" sum this great project up, talking about God... "I can hear you in hip-hop music. the kick and the snare, when we use it to build and not tear."
