Here we have five tracks all showcasing the Kent-based singer/songwriter performing his own songs, with production, mixing and instrumental backing from Jonathan Newman. The lyrics of all Adam's songs are simple to a fault, but bear in mind that words can be simple yet profound. The opening track, "Thank You, Lord" has an up-beat arrangement and a cool electric guitar break. Its chorus is strong, mostly because of the helpful backing vocals from Jude Grahame, although I found the ending weak. "Jesus, I Love You" is another simple but effective prayer while "Blow, Spirit Of God" has a more folky arrangement. "Sin In My Bones" has slightly more original ideas and "There's A Story" is quite different; a story song about his mother's near death experience. Adam's style could be said to be middle of the road, but with pop and Celtic influences. All in all, a reasonable followup to 2013's 'First Fruits'.
