This double CD concept work comprises two parts, "Moriah" and "My Every Breath", both having been previously released as individual albums and reviewed in Cross Rhythms. 'City Of Peace' seeks to explore the roots of the Jewish Christian faith taking for its inspiration biblical sources and the work of traditional Jewish poets down through the centuries. This is a beautiful album lyrically and musically, full of rich melodies, haunting, even moody, in parts. Overall, wonderfully uplifting. No matter what your personal taste in CCM, this is a fine inspirational album to have in your collection.
