I remember these five albums, 'Fireflake' [1975], 'Goodbye October1 (1976), listen To The Peace' (1977), 'Something New Under The Sun' (1979) and 'Cut' (1981) the first time round, and it is great to see them re-released. Adrian's first album 'Fireflake' is one of the most creative and innovative albums from a British Christian artist. 25 years later it is still a classic which has aged well with time. As production techniques improve from one album to the next, it is Adrian's skill as a musician and his creative compositions that stand out and not some dramatic, flashy production. Throughout these albums it is the acoustic lead in songs like "And In The Morning", from 'Goodbye October1; "Through The City Noise" and "Judas" from listen To The Peace'; the excellent "Song At The Cross" from 'Something New Under The Sun' that show Adrian Snell to be one of the most talented Christian musicians this country has produced. Even in the weakest of these five albums, 'Cut', there is the excellently orchestrated song "Moments In Eternity" which show effectively Adrian Snell can draw the listener in. Though 'Cut' is weaker than the other albums there are still enough good moments to make it worthy of inclusion here.
