Taking as her musical influences Lauryn Hill, Kim Burrell and D'Angelo, here's an album from Adrianne Archie that serves up a full meal of neo soul. With deft production and talented vocal performances, there is plenty on here to make things interesting and keep the listener plugged in. I love the cleverly haunting discordant "Always On Time" where music and message are perfectly matched. "Who Jesus Is" is suitably celebratory whilst "What A Fellowship" is funky in an understated fashion. The brilliant "Aingonlechugo" has a fresh, almost Nureau feel to it and "Jesus You Reign" is another highlight and guaranteed dancefloor filler if ever I heard one! If you like your gospel with an inspirational neo soul edge, this is superb stuff! Fabulous vocals meet well produced creative songs packed with a powerful message.
