Here's yet another release from those adorable Ugandan orphans. This time it's a Christmas album with a number of traditional carols as well as some less familiar African ditties. These kids have received popular acclaim of late and listening to this it's not hard to see why. There is a marked increase in confidence when singing in their own tongue but all tracks have some great arrangements. We are even given a rendition of "Silent Night" in German - is there no end to their talents? You will just fall for the African sounds and the joyful enthusiasm in "Ensi Zonna" ("The World Is Celebrating") and "Eggulu Lyajjula Ettendo" ("The Heavens Filled With Praise") though I doubt you will be gathering round the piano to give them a bash with your family this Christmas! I can't think of a better way to kick off the festivities than to buy this album - what is more you will be helping the orphans of Uganda have a happy Christmas too.
