Chris Cole raved about this single on God TV recently. Now some might dismiss such unbridled enthusiasm as a wrinkly getting all nostalgic about the music of his youth. But this, the first release from the reformed ATF (who, just in case you didn't know, were the Delirious? of the '70s/early '80s), is much more than old rockers reliving past glories. The song might be an oldie (originally recorded in 1979 and featured on their 'Laser Love' album) but the new version here, with treated drums bringing an engaging ricocheting rhythm to be song sounds great. With a telling (amended) lyric and Keith Smith's excellent vocal it will sound great on today's radio. Plus there's a brand new song, "Wildflowers", for collectors to pounce on. Recorded for Christian Aid to promote awareness of the Trade Justice Campaign to help make poverty history, this deserves big sales.
